What We Believe

God is the creator of all things

We believe His fullness is beyond all human conception.  He is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, and
omnipresent.  He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as well as the God of all New Testament

believers.  Gen.1:1-31, John 17:1-26, John 15: 26, 27

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God.  We believe in His
substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world. John 3:16, John 14:1-3

The Holy Ghost

We also believe that God has revealed Himself as three distinct persons in the Trinity - the Father, Son, and
Holy Ghost.  They are united in nature and substance as the one true God.

Salvation

We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and the work of the cross was to redeem man from the power of sin.  We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it. Rom. 10: 8-13

Eternal Security of the Believer

We believe that those who have placed their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and have received Him as Lord and Savior, are kept by the power of God and are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. Jude V.24, Eph.1:1-14

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the existence of the Holy Ghost as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man.  We believe in the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit. Gal. 5:22,  I Cor. 11-2:1-11

Baptism of the Holy Ghost

We believe that this is an event whereby the fullness of the power of the Holy Ghost is released in a born again person's life.  It is evidenced by the ability to speak in a new prayer language, or other manifestations of the Holy Ghost.  Acts 19:1-7,  Acts 1:1-8

The Sacred Scripture

We believe that The Bible (KJB) is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.  It is God's love letter to His created being - man.  It contains His plan of salvation for mankind as well as the foundation for all knowledge of matters relating to life and death.  It is eternal - it will never pass away.   Mat. 24:35

STEWARDSHIP

We believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources, which ultimately belong to God.  We believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.  Malachi 3:1-11

THE CHURCH

We believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ consisting of all those who have accepted the work of the atonement.  We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism and edification.  Heb. 10:25

PRAYER AND PRAISE

We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands.  We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his needs.  Psalms22:3, I Thess. 5:16-18

BODY MINISTRY

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church.  James 5:14

EVANGELISM

We believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ.  The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the earth.  We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelism in their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability.  Mark 16:15

WATER BAPTISM

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God.  All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the "circumcision of the Spirit".  Mat. 28: 19, Col. 2:9-12

OUR COMMITMENT TO ISRAEL

We believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.  We believe that this is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful.  Gen12:3

THE PRIESTHOOD OF THE BELIEVER

We believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord.  As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry.  I Peter 2:9
